Reunion Explorer is an evolution of the iconic Reunion by L.G.R. The side flaps in cellulose acetate of the explorer version of Reunion are characterized by thin and sophisticated design slits, inspired by the lines of the trifora of Ottica Bini, the emporium in the suburbs of Asmara owned by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone's grandfather, Raffaello Bini. L.G.R glasses are entirely handmade in Italy by three families of artisans, who build each frame from start to finish using traditional production methods to create an authentic and refined product. For each frame, the production process can last from 8 to 14 weeks. The choice of materials is the core of L.G.R: only the finest Italian acetates are used to ensure products of the highest quality, durable and long-lasting.
