Asmara II is a bold reinterpretation of the iconic Asmara, one of the first models designed by Luca Gnecchi Ruscone after discovering some old military frames in the warehouse of Ottica Bini - the shop owned by his grandfather, Raffaello Bini - which is still one of the best sellers of the brand. The new version of this masculine frame with retro influences is more aggressive and contemporary, thanks to the thicker acetate frame, the slight milling on the bridge, and the keyhole bridge. L.G.R glasses are entirely handmade in Italy by three families of artisans, who build each frame from start to finish using traditional manufacturing methods to create an authentic and refined product. For each frame, the production process can take from 8 to 14 weeks. The choice of materials is the core of L.G.R: only the finest Italian acetates are used to ensure the highest quality, durable, and long-lasting products.
